Saturday, July 25 - About 2:30pm this afternoon Steve moved to MSI which is an intermediate care unit. He had passed through on Saturday July 4 for a brief time. The nurse for today had cared for him while he was in NICU and sedated. His mind is pretty much back to normal and his brain-finger coordination is rapidly improving. He is still on tube feeding and the pancreas is still draining. When I go back tonight we will be getting him up setting on the side of the bed and see if he can stand for a minute or so. Will not be trying to get him in the wheelchair!. We will not find out until Monday when he will be able to start eating food again. They are also talking about maybe some time in Rehab for strengthening. I am happy with his progress.
Steve says thanks for all the prayers and support.
