Tuesday morning July 28 - when I came in Steve was sitting up on the side of the bed having already been put through his paces by physical therapy. He is "enjoying" a full liquid meal!!! Depending on how the oral food goes will impact how much longer the feeding tube remains. They will be doing a CT scan tomorrow to check on the pancreas. He still has a Picc line in but it is not being used, and they have quit monitoring his heart. Slowly he is getting rid of various equipmant. He still has oxygen going and will have for quite sometime.
Last night's weather prevented me from coming back to visit at 8pm. We lost power for several hours and when I tried to leave the Isle there were trees down every where, so I went back home. This morning discovered that we have lost about a major portion of the top of the pecan tree in the back yard. Did not take time to check the Hex beam, tower and wire antenna. I'll hope to get home tonight before dark to check. Our generator worked like a champ until about 6:15am. Steve has been able to tell me how to get it going.
