Not a good day

As today progressed Steve continued to get weaker. Dr just talked with us - Steve's hemaglobin is only 8.7 which would make anybody tired and weak. This has not been a sudden drop but gradual. His white count is over 20,000, so there is an infection. He will be getting a blood transfusion and they are calling in an Infection Control specialist. Don't know if he will stay in Rehab or have to go back to the main hospital. Needless to say his spirits are pretty low.
