Steve is slowly improving. Saw the Vascular doctor yesterday, he no longer has cellulitis in his R leg. He still has some problems but does not require antibiotics. Saw the pancreas doctor today, he cut off most of the outside end of the drain and has put a pouch over the end. No more having to flush and asperate the drain. In 2 weeks he will pull the drain 1/2 out and take more off. In about a total of one month the drain will be removed. OT was out today. Progress is slow but if I stop and compare a week ago, Steve is definitely stronger. We will see our primary care physician tomorrow. At least Steve is able to get out the house and into and out of the Expedition.
I will probably continue to be on Family Medical Leave for at least another week. Steve is not ready to be left alone. Possibly I can work some from home - we will see.
Again, thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.
Sue
