We made it home. It was actually harder than we anticipated. Steve had trouble getting in his big Expedition. We made it in the house with not much trouble. But then Steve tried setting in his Lazy Boy. Fortunately, Bill Deloach was at the house or I would never have gotten him up. Bill and Steve came up with the idea of bulding a platform to raise the chair. Then Bill went about constructing it within a few hours. Steve tried the bed and he almost couldn't get out. According to Steve things are worst than he anticipated. Steve did have a good night sleep in the Lazy Boy.
Then this afternoon I was helping Steve get off the toilet when his good leg gave way and he went down in our very small bathroom. Fortunately Stephen was home, but even combined we could not get him up. Had to call 911 for help. After much effort they were able to get him up. Fortunately he was not injured. It is going to be a long, hard recovery.

STEVE & SUE, SO GLAD Y'ALL MADE IT HOME AT LAST, THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE "HOME" , KNOW Y'ALL WILL WORK THE BUGS OUT, OF THE LITTLE THINGS, LIKE THE RECLINER, WITH HELP OF GOOD FRIENDS, OLE "BILL" GLAD STEVE WASN'T HURT IN THE BATHROOM THING, EVERYTHING WITH WORK OUT !
