Finally got him in to see a doctor yesterday. Was able to convince him that Steve was going down hill and could not breathe. He got to his room last night about 11:30pm. He has fluid on both lungs, lab values continue to be low which allows the fluid to go where it should not (lungs, soft tissue, heart, etc). He needs to eat but nothing tastes good. Needless to say he is quite sick - not up to visitors.
